Off road routes Airvault near Poitiers France

Post by Q plate »

So we're heading off next weekend to stay in this area for a week currently trawling through Wikilock for possible off road routes but just wondered if those on here with more knowledge of France have any suggestions. Was also looking at an old thread that referred to GR routes that we may be able to pick up on the way down (from Dieppe) any info appreciated (thumbs)
Regards AL

Airvault eh...nice river walk (thumbs) its away off poitiers  ..pinball off this forum lives not far away towards Lucon area but still Deaux Severes....
The Dam area near Niort is a no go area but there are plenty of chemin paths but havent ridden them as most for pogo,s only ...chasf did a french rando rally years ago maybe he has some info..from Saumur south i think..
The huge forest south of Dieppe is off limits too....most are in france...get a local french map and explore is what i do...it will be blimin hot and overgrown though....
Or try a post on bikeclubfrance trail section...you need to be a forum member though
