I'm leaving on the Eurotunnel at about 6pm tuesday 16th, with a campsite I usually stop at first night in mind about 30 miles south of Calais.
From there I'm free for 6 days, I have to be back in England on Monday the 22nd May.
Any recommendations as to where to go? I've been pretty much all over France/Western Germany, most of western europe, so I know the areas quite well.
I was thinking about a ride through Belgium/Luxembourg, down the black forest, Java alps, then back up on the last day on the toll roads.
I'm literally up for anywhere, so feel free to suggest anything you think would be worthwhile.
On an africa twin, camping the whole way.
Cheers (thumbs)

Yes, follow the weather. But I've always found more than I expected in Luxembourg and the Ardennes. Across the Mosel, around Trier all worth a wander.
Just along for the ride.

Through the black forest via the b500 then down the vosges mountains, easy 6 days.
Finally back on a GS

Currently in France after a trip around Pyrenees. They're a bit special!

What about something different and go along France's North and West coast? Follow the road all the way down to La Rochelle and Bordeaux. Something different and if you have the weather I would imagine it would be a great ride.
On my list to do one day.

I was in france a couple of weeks ago,it was sunny but still pretty cold.my advice would be to spend a day slogging south then enjoy the rest of the days meandering around northern spain, below the Pyrenees at lower altitudes (thumbs)
