I preferred the Beara Peninsula,more wild and remote.Although Mannix Point campsite at Cahirciveen on the Ring of Kerry is probably the best campsite I've ever stayed at.

Don't bother with the Ring - ride fhe Wild Atlantic Way instead. Download the app and take a look.
Ring of Kerry is on the Wild Atlantic Way......but as said there are other places on it.

If you have good weather and based in just one place on it you will not be short of somewhere nice to go every day.

+1 For Mannix Point...phenomenal campsite and the guy who runs it (Mortimer) is lovely!

Plus....it's really close to Cahergall and Leacanabuaile cashels and also Ballycarbery Castle

Have a look around the Ireland section on this site (Index,ABR Regional groups,Ireland)
Should hopefully pick up some indicators there (thumbs)
