Tyre availability east of Ankara?

Post by captinktm »

Ok I am riding east from here in Bulgaria heading for the Stan's and maybe Mongolia. Does anyone know where I can get tyres 150/18. 100/21 (pre ordered and paid for) in either Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, or even eastern Turkey.

I intend to do as much off road as possible and will start with a set of E10/09's

Help is appreciated.

Muztoo in Osh,Kyrgyzstan always crop up on ride reports with tyres and mechanical help. Think the question would get some more response on the Horizons Unlimited

Why not ship the tyres to desired destination, so to be sure you'll have the type you need for the terrain you will cover?

Cheers

This company is based in Rustavi, Georgia. http://west-east-travel.com/en/

I bought Mitas tyres from them last year for the KTM990. If you go there just make sure to watch the mechanic as he managed to drop my inner wheel spacer which I didn't discover until back in Europe when the wheel bearing collapsed
