Cheaper than a new saddle,I ride with Decathlon cheap cycle shorts to avoid monkey butt.

I bought these also which work well. They do four types...sport,adventure,cruiser and lady.

I had a voucher code and he threw in a baseball cap that fits in my jacket pocket by having the peak fold in three....dead handy when stopping for lunch to just take it out and have shade.

Bought in a Decathlon sale..a Coleman two man tent. It has one frame loop only. There's room here to stash boots and the rest of the moto kit. As with all tents there's loop inside to hang the head torch that lives in my handlebar bag.

As a cross post..I use these boots. They're used both for enduros and road riding. They're even light enough to walk around a town centre at a lunch stop if need be.

They're not waterproof but geographically where I live the vast majority of my riding is done in good weather and with cotton sports socks on.

I can revert to the old 20L plastic bag trick and wool socks if I get caught out severely or simply put up with wet feet.

Ideal for a day ride are French army rations. They're bulky but handy and you really just need a bottle of water and you're good to go.

There's various 'menu's'.

The parts you search for are beside the tartan paint and long weights at the climbing section of Decathlon.

I have one of these water bottle mounts but after a good few kms on corrugations it's possible to loose a bottle.

I found a support for fixing plastic windows and used it to give support to the bottle of the bottle. Its crimped at the bend so should be strong enough when used in conjunction with the bottle. I only needed to drill one hole.

A few turns of duct tape keeps away from metal to metal contact...a section of bicycle inner tube would assist too.

Bottle still sits snuggly to support.

A very kind friend sent me stainless steel hip flask....I use it for storing my chain oiler oil . It has the advantage of a side spout which enables it to be poured easily into the oiler. It stays in my handle bar bag for easy access.
