A good outcome for all especially as it doesn't leave a bad taste. Glad to see it sorted. I had similar service at times when circumstances prevailed to miss a ferry, simply put me on the next one.

How about writing back and saying thanks, but also suggesting that bikes be strapped via the frame not over the seat wherever possible

I've been having a series of pleasant and hopefully productive emails back and forth Mike, I will indeed make the suggestion of removing the seat, when possible.

Thanks to the guy handling my case have been made already, and another will go as soon as the cash is in my account!! (thumbs)
