A mate of mine is mine n his way to Spain through France.
From Calais he is now around Tours and has stopped three times for fuel.
Not wanting to let the tank get to low.

No problems at all at any Peaje service station.

Sounds good to me, Eurotunnel in the morning at 06.30, Pyrenees here I come.

It'll be fine!!

Almost seems to have eased a little here in the Vendee. Calm before the storm perhaps?
This morning I filled both bikes and after, my jerry can for the mowers etc. There is still a €30 limit at some, but not all garages.

It seems some people where willing to go to extremes to conserve fuel

Done vielha to Chartres today via A64 A62 A20 and the 154 to chartres = no problems or signs of queues.

adventure bike forum and we're worried we wont be able to get fuel in France? best not venture too far from civilisation then :laugh: :laugh:

Not everyone travels by 'adventure bikes' all the time.

Update time from.sources in france...
Seems the fuel is getting back through to rural northern france down to the loire and Brittany....

So sell those unwanted fuel cans lol....

Rode from Chamonix to Calais over the weekend and most garages on the auto routes were open.Some of the services only had half the pumps working but finding fuel was not a problem.

Cherbourg to Saintes today.... haven't seen one queue for fuel.....
Saintes to Spain tomorrow..... hope for more of the same......
Suspect the press scaremongering as usual..... nothing seems as bad as they would have us believe.....!!
