Transporting bikes to southern Spain

Post by peterpan241 »

What companies have people used to transport bikes to southern Spain, Malaga or Murcia or Alicante. Flybikefly used to do Malaga but it's dropped from their website, looking October/November 2016. Ideally return but not essential as I could dump at my brother's near Murcia and worry about repatriating later. Experiences / thoughts appreciated

Try contacting Tony Barker at Euro Bike Trans. www.eurobiketrans.co.uk they do a great job and ship the bikes in a steel crate. They do northern Spain and Portugal, but worth an email to him.
Not used him personally but heard very good reports of his service.

Mototrans are based in Ashford, Kent.
We used them to get a couple of bikes home from Pistoia in Italy last year.

Have a chat with Paco, his family import fruit to the UK from Alicante and the trucks run back empty. He's offered this 'service' - informal though it would be I guess - to other guys on this forum so I'm giving you his user ID - Pcayuela - without asking him first.
