Cheers for this! (thumbs)

I read his book "The man who cycled the world" and it was a good read. I didn't realise that there were films for it.... so I'll check out the videos later.

Read both books, Great, Also watched them on TV. TV was showing Man who cycled the world Just as I was about to Cycle Lands end to John O Groats. So I figured If Mark Beaumont can ride around the world on a loaded bike on his own and average 100 miles a day I must be able to do that from L.END to J.O.G. So I did . Fun but hard, those were the days , as they say.

Reminds me of the way Oisin Hughes did his videos - and that's a compliment.

Excellent - working through them.

Way beyond most of the usual motorcycle holiday stuff.......... (thumbs)

Also have you read any John Lewis. the expedition? He is the guy on a bicycle that Ewan and Charlie bumped into while in Egypt/ Sudan ??? during Long Way Down. First human powered circumnavigation.
I went to the Caribbean on holiday with my wife last year.

Jamaica?

No, she wanted to.
