Dropping by with my weekly plug I arrived in Istanbul yesterday. Big milestone in leaving Europe and the adventure begins. Given that I was here last year on holiday, it feels the most familiar place I've been to since leaving Blighty.

If all goes according to plan I will pick up my Iranian visa today
