Jesus H, I though I was the only one in the UK that had been to Lake Idro. That loop around from Lake Garda to Idro is an Italian classic, thanks for reminding me Strimstrum. By the way, the region and roads just to the north of Idro towards Molveno are so sweet.

I like to get about..... :) You are most definitely right, there are some fantastic little roads dotted all around this region. The HU meeting was in Capovalle, a few kilometres up the mountain from Lago di Idro.

The great thing is that I'll be going down through this region again next month on my way back from the ferry at Brindisi.
