This is him Receiving the Bonking Sheep from Big AL the Lost Leader of our pack.
Lost we definately were sometimes.
Nick couldn't try on his birthday present because he hadn't packed his wellies

Allied flags in the US Cemetry Museum.

It was a great trip for 14 of us with new friendships made & a great crack out in the open @ camp supper.
Now all the Calvados Cyderheads have departed, here's to our reunion sometime (thumbs) (thumbs)

Thanks Mike for the info.
All from memory on return so not as 100% as I'd like it to be.
Trouble is "Seen one - seen'em all confusion sets in"
The most embarrasing site was Maisy Battery, which has been purchased by an English guy who charges 6 quid entrance fee to look @ Concrete 155mm Howitzer platforms with a few connecting trenches. :whistle:

I camped about half a mile from there but never got to it as it was not open early enough. I think Massey battery will get better as it was on,y found six years ago.
