We were over there for 10 days on the bikes in September. Even the main motorways go through some stunning contryside. If you get down south then I'd recommend riding the Ronda road from Marbella (sort of) up to Ronda town in the mountains. It's simply awesome and crops up all the time as one of the best roads in Europe to ride, so I'm told. I liked Spain a lot B) .
