Re: Whitby
There is a really nice campsite at Robin Hoods bay here stayed there for three days and a lovely view across the bay especially on a moonlit night. Probably need to book as can get full quite quickly.

Re: Whitby
Whitby Youth Hostel is one of the best in the country. Set in the grounds of Whitby Abbey. Not much more expensive than a campsite.

Re: Whitby
Booked 'Broadings Farm', £14 a night, also booked heartbreakproductions, Dracula, 14th Aug, at the abbey. Should be fun camping after that.

Don't miss the Magpie on Pier road for the best fish and chips you'll ever get.

Highly over rated if you ask me - and you have to queue forever for quite average food!Willy_Eckerslike wrote:Don't miss the Magpie on Pier road for the best fish and chips you'll ever get.
