We are planning on leaving via Dover Tuesday 2nd and having a journey down, maybe via Munich. We have a hotel booked in Garmish Thurs - Mon Morning before heading up to Harz Mountains on the way home.

hi bud just booked my ferry today via newcastle not cheep £273.00 return

Ferry never is. We ride to Dover, overnight, ferry across and still find it cheaper than DFDS. We are coming home with them after our hols, but that's cos 20 minutes after docking we are home and can get turned around ready to go back to work. Single still works out to £204 quids.
