Riding to the tip of Denmark and taking the Norrina ferry which takes 2 days. It will take me three weeks as a round trip. Im camping for all of it except at the ferry port.

Hi
I have heard that Iceland is very expensive, I know that is not a reason not to go there but at some point the wife wants us to go but not on a bike :( Is there any chance you could post some of the prices I am liable to be facing? That would be most helpful, thanks, and have a good trip and as others have said look forward to some pictures.

It is cheaper to fly and Hire a bike if your just going for a week but I really wanted to ride my own bike (Im a bit over attached to it  )

It is a holiday for me not a challenge of how ruff and cheap I can do it in. I love camping but still like a few girly comforts like a toilet and running water :)

I reckon over all, fuel, food, chunnel, ferry, campsites, it will be somewhere around 2k but that's for three weeks of touring, with a couple of hotels thrown in as I don't fancy packing up a tent at 4am to get to the ferry on time, so not too bad I think.

Sounds pretty good value to me given the distance and duration of your trip. Hope you have a great time. Look forward to the photos.
