Re: sea sickness tablets?
Hi Tramp,
I used to have terrible sea legs, tried various tablets and acubands, but I still felt like crap.
Now I have it sussed.....I lay down for the whole of the journey! It actually works for me, no more feeling of nausea, light headedness or dizziness B)

+ 1 Stugeron. Avoid alcohol and fatty food. Either go up on deck and look at horizon or lie down and close your eyes. Nibbling on something quite bland - plain biscuit, oatcake etc can also help.

+2 for Stugeron. Also ask for a cabin mid-ship (less roll) and as near the waterline as possible, the higher up you are the greater the pitch
Re: sea sickness tablets?
I was on a BoB crossing when it was bad. I had to sit in a hallway with my back to the wall to try work through the massive pitching and yawing of the ship. Very rough. Try not to eat if you can manage it until the final days breakfast.
