Multi-bike policies

Post by Richard Simpson Mark II » Wed Jun 10, 2020 3:16 pm

Anyone any experience of multi-bike policies from provider other than CN (I'm with them already) and Bennetts (tried and found wanting, and about to takeover CN)?

I’m with LV. I found them straight forward to deal with on the phone.
It doesn’t seem to be what I remember as a multibike policy as both bikes have a separate price and their own No Claims Discount.
Also, the legal protection bit is per bike.
I bought it but next time I’ll shop around for a stand alone legal protection policy to cover us both on all of our vehicles.

A mate of mine had cause to claim from LV a few years back and they were nothing but super. Quick to react, quick to inspect, quick to come to a sensible price and very quick to actually pay out.
And yes, he is an actual mate, it’s not a bloke I once met down the pub knew a bloke who’s brother etc etc.

I have one with Devitt (formally A line?) upto 4 bikes always been straight forward with no hassle even when I had a theft claim. Already been a recent post discussion.

Peter James for old bikes, over 20 years old got 9 on my policy, they do/did? offer to quote for a modern added to the policy but always is cheaper to get an individual policy for a single modern elsewhere.

Just done a few of mine, individually, via topcashback

Incredible savings, and a policy for each one

I went to them because they didn’t want you to keep your bike locked up 24 hours a day.
When I sold my classic Triumph I assumed they would ditch me but, because I had had a classic insured with them before, they are happy for me to carry on even though I said being attacked by the kickstart and general disillusion meant no more classic bikes for me.
