Well I must say I am dissapointed. Not that they are using electric bikes, that doesn't bother me. What,
for me, is disspointing is that they have a massive backup team for charging the bikes along the way.
Which, from my perspective, defeats the object really. You could compare it with someone driving around
the world in a Tesla, but having a backup truck with diesel generator and battery banks. Why?
Just use a car with an ICE...
So my opinion is, they should of gone with KTM, again...

I would imagine that a full back up team is at the cost and demands of the manufacturer, a publicity stunt becomes a liability if it goes wrong.
Open your eyes and you see what is in front of you, open your mind and you see a bigger picture but open your heart and you see a whole new World.

One option in busy cities is to go Booking.com and tick the ‘secure parking’ option. Choose the one that suits you. Some hotels in far-flung countries with this option even let you pull inside the hotel.Godspeed wrote: ↑Sun Sep 08, 2019 6:31 pm Genuinely wasn’t trying to be negative. I for one was one of those that watched their first trip and it sparked my interest.
I just wondered, as any time I’ve done long trips, there have been places, sometimes in busy towns, where I couldn’t get my bike near the accommodation so couldn’t understand how they will recharge at night.
The electric bike stuff isn’t my bag but it will be different at least

Good to know.
Sometimes I’m just finding the cheapest places and they may not have parking anyway.

I watched parts of long way down.
It was not my cup of tea,
Pressing, pressing, pressing.
To reach the boat, to reach the UN meeting, to reach the deadline.
Ewan was right, when he was pissed of.
That they just pressed and had no time to see the world they were passing.
Other than private shows of some ruins.
Bike riding ok. But is it travelling ?
Ted Simon is the only Good.
