I just saw this post.....have a friend in Roscommon town, not too far...has bikes and more important a bike trailer. PM me if you want anything. He uses the forum but only very occasionally.

so sorry to hear this buddy:-( I hope you still manaage to lift a pint of the black stuff with the good arm and cheer yourself up a bit.....:-)

Thanks guys,
Been a pretty nasty break with tendon and nerve damage, but i am very thankful it was not much worse.
Was a bit of an adventure anyway - now for the pain of physioterrorism and patience of not being allowed to drive or ride for what seems like ever.
Some time to learn how to service and maintain the GS anyway.
