From what I can gather (don't quote me I'm nothing to do with the organisation) it's meant to be able to be ridden on a large bike with dual purpose tyres, they say the course is going to be ridden a short while before the event to make sure everything is still Ok for large bikes.
I've entered on my 701, it and the 690 just about qualify, I'm hoping for a relaxed weekend riding my bike in areas I'd not normally be allowed to ride in and have a bit of a mental challenge with the navigation via roadbook, however I'm sure my competitive side will surface at some point :? :D

I think if you're happy with your bike on gravel tracks then you'll be fine, if not get a bit of practice in ;)

p.s. I sent you a pm the other day.
Hey Stu, sorry, replied to your PM now. I can't see any of the capers on their website, or am I being blind? Cheers!

Looks like great fun actually. Just trying to ensure I can fit it in and make sure nothing clashes before I go ahead and book.

I'm hoping to buy a trailer this weekend or next, so will take the campervan. March in a tent, I am a pussy ;)
