Always take a spare spark plug.....never used.
Always take front and rear inner tubes.....never used.
Always take army ration packs but always manage to source plenty of food locally(apart from France on a Sunday)
Always take nuts and bolts,cable ties,lock wire etc.....never used.
Always take spare AA batteries for head torch,GPS,camera etc but they always come back unused.
Always take spare gloves and waterproof trousers which never come out. Even if it does rain it is normally too late to put them on and you normally dry off quickly anyway.
