:D

? Seems a fair question to me?

Surely Insurance is needed to protect the trainer from claims from a trainee who gets injured or suffers bike damage?

(Similar to professional indemnity insurance?)

Sorry for the late reply.

Totally justified question and to answer I'm currently looking at putting insurance in place.

Make shore you have the relevant insurance for France And that you are registered to be an instructor

Might involve a course ( in French . in France ) and an astronomical amount of insurance . or just risk it and loss every thing you have !!

should something go wrong on the French side ,

Could you not get away with the France side by saying you have to have already complete and entry level training course to prove you to be a competent level to be able to do the France course ???? And just have it more as a tourer rather than a training course but have a restriction on it that you have to have at least completed the first level course of competence that way your not training them your just riding with them and showing them around on your insurance maybe
