Hi All,
After seven years on my 800 GS I’ve up graded to the new Rallye Adventure TE but the bike is so new that the insurance companies I’ve spoken to don’t have it on their computers yet. Even BMW insurance don’t have it and I can’t take it home until it’s taxed and insured.
Does anyone else here have this bike? If you do, can you let me know your insurer so that I can get started please?
Thanks,
Graham

Re: BMW Rallye Adventure

Re: BMW Rallye Adventure
He’s as puzzled about it not being published yet as I am and is chasing it up through the command structure.
Bennett’s and Hastings couldn’t insure me until BMW update their brand info.
BMW insurers are willing to insure it now. They still haven’t been told of its existence but will amend an existing computer entry to make it work. It’s pricey though.
I’m hoping to get a cover note tomorrow and bring it home.
