As you may have read at https://adventurebikerider.com/forum/vi ... 6&start=20 , Dazzer is doing a talk this Sunday 12th November at Settle, North Yorkshire's Victoria Hall Theatre at 1pm about long distance motorcycle touring

This is the message he would like me to pass on (he can't log in himself following the changes in the ABR website software!!!)

Just back from Settle's Victoria Hall after doing a check to make sure everything is working OK for this Sunday's presentation raising funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance .

Wow Their new sound system and huge screen is amazing. The theatre looks great when all the table and chairs are set up.

Remember there will be hot and cold food and drinks available from a little after 12 . I also believe the Bar will also be open ....Hic ..

We have some great raffle prizes in the form of Travel books from Adventurer Sam Manicom, A voucher for a meal for 2 with drinks from Penny Garth in Hawes from Christian Westen and some DVD's .

There is also a upstairs for those wishing to get a better aim when throwing tomatoes . Hope to see some off here on the day.

A quick bump...

Sunday (=tomorrow/today/yesterday, depending when you read this post) in Settle, North Yorkshire, just off the A65 at 1pm...

Despite (or because...) the word "Adventure" being missing from the poster...

Worth a look?... For a very good cause... It's sure to be a very entertaining and informative. And a great excuse to avoid the mother-in-law for Sunday lunch (or just bring her along?)
