Help in France!

Post by jhwg_95 »

Hi all,

My chain decided to snap while heading south through France on the motorway :O it seems the split link has snapped but not the retaining plate... The link itself.

I am currently in Pouilly en Auxois and wonder if there are any local forum members around that may be able to help out either find an open garage or even have a spare split link lying around... The reward being some beer tokens!

Thanks in advance chaps.

Hi Joe. You're a long distance from me in Haute Vienne I'm afraid. But if it helps...

Your nearest city is Dijon, which is a pretty big place. If you can get a lift, take the A38 going east for about 40kms.

Here are the addresses of motorbike shops in Dijon:

Hope that helps.

Best of luck, Dave

Flag down a local biker, I'm sure they will have local knowledge.
Open your eyes and you see what is in front of you, open your mind and you see a bigger picture but open your heart and you see a whole new World.
