DAKAR rally

I watch the official Dakar clips which are about 5 mins and Lyndon's. The Eurosport programme I find unreliable re it's timings as it always starts late due to live events overrunning so my recordings miss the end. So frustrating! So its Youtube all the way for me now. The Dakar Heroes clips are great too.

Bought a 65" ultra HD smart tv just before Xmas and being able to flit effortlessly between Youtube vids means my Dakar fix is well and truly satisfied this year

Personally I really like Lyndon's video blogs as it gives an insight into what goes on behind the scene especially like episode 11 seeing what he does to his bike on a 'rest day'!! Goodness knows how he has the time to do all that, sleep ride and make a video, but then ?I guess he has to pay for it some how.

For Poskitt it was a major achievement to have now started three Dakar’s and finished three Dakar’s improving on his result each year. Racing in the Malle Moto class he finished 28th on the final stage, which means he ended up 33rd overall in the standings and second Malle Moto finisher behind former official Yamaha and Dakar podium man Olivier Pain.
