Welcome mate, ive been seriously tempted by the MT350 as an overlander, i posted a thread on horizons unlimited about a year ago and got some really mixed feedback, seems you either love em or hate em. :)

thanks for the welcome Guys

I must admit they are like marmite Love em or hate em
as you can tell I love em
you can get them direct from Mod but you have to register them The 604 was direct and was fully stripped down and all powder coated and fitted the rotax 604 Motor from a CCM
I had a custome SS exhaust made for it I did Normandy last year on the 604 befor i rebuilt it

the second one i picked up for a couple of hundred quid
and had to build it and register it they are great off road and i green lane as much as i can
im building a 500 engine for the lainer at the moment.

Welcome, I actually rode a CanAm or Armstrong 500 in the Falkland Islands 79/80 as part of the now disbanded NP8901 sadly I do not have any photographs.

But we did have a hoard of the 350's stay with us on a trip in aid of the "Help the Hero's" charity a bunch of the 1st Medical Regiment rode a dozon 350's from Munster (D) to Timbucktoo in early 2009

pictures and story here http://ridersrest.blogspot.com/2009/02/ ... -rest.html

these are the bikes crammed in my garage

and again the next morning ready for the off
