Salut from western France.

Post by Cornishman »

Hi after a hiccup or two I’ve managed to register at last. Over the past few years I’ve done all of my riding on tarmac but I’m swapping my sports tourer for a mid weight bike with enough off road ability to use the many tracks and chemins that cross the countryside near where I live. I’m also hoping to buy back a little Suzuki DR that hasn’t been used once by the person I sold it to several years ago. 🙂
There are a few familiar names on here so it will be good to catch up.

Hi Phil. One of the reasons I wanted to join the forum was to catch up with your write ups, I miss them from the BCF days. I live near where 86, 16 and 79 meet. I know Dave R but haven’t seen him for ages.

Hiya Cornishman. It's David isn't it? (Kind of forgotten what your moniker was on BCFR). Sailing trip from La Rochelle (loved it)?

Good to have you on here old bean. Other frenchy-fied folk on here include Phil, Shan, Steve, Nick, Chris etc - who all used to visit BCFR at various times. Let us know when you get the DR and we'll arrange some dirt time.

Hi Dave. Phil has already sorted me out on WattsApp. It looks as though you’re having fun down in the hills. 🙂
