I’ve been enjoying the forum for a while now, so I thought I’d sign up and say hello.
I had bikes at school and college back in the early 80’s, then had a break until 2001.
TS50ER, DR125S then TS250ER and an RD350LC to mix it up a bit.
When the knees started giving up and I stopped playing football, I needed something to fill that gap on those wet, cold, Saturdays in the winter. I bought a DRZ400 for trail riding and haven’t looked back.
I was living in South Devon at the time. The perfect place for trail riding.
My 1st Adventure bike was a GSA1200 I bought in 2015 and I changed that for the 1250 earlier this year.
I do get the tyres dirty on gentle gravel trails, mainly in the Peak District – but only if it’s nice and dry.
I’ve also ridden some great trails in The Lake District, The Yorkshire Dales and The North Yorkshire Moors.
I live in Northants, so it’s a great day out and only use the M1 for about 40mins.
I still have a KTM500EXC Six Days for the winter and wet weekends.
Again, riding mostly in the Peak District using a trailer to get the bike up there.
I’m a member of the TRF and used to be quite active on their forum – but it is hopeless now and hardly used.
I’m really glad I came across this forum and everything it brings.
Cheers
Steve

OK great, as soon as I get dates sorted, I'll email out the details as usual.Pint Master wrote: ↑Thu Jan 09, 2020 2:02 pm Should be OK for your next Peaks and Devon Trips all being well.
