Hi there from a Surrey G650GS rider

Post by Geecee68 »

Hi all,

Have come back to riding a bike after a 20 year hiatus. I bought my son a 50cc moped, spent most of the winter fixing the sodding thing, and realised how much I loved messing about with bikes. I spotted a lightly used G650GS for sale, bought it and have loved riding it over summer. Done the trip from Surrey to Salisbury Plain a few times, camped at various sites, and done a good few kms getting used to stand up riding on gravel. And took a tumble on mud, which is like Kryptonite to me.

Planning to do the Transpyrenean (?) in 2020.

Thanks in advance for your patience to my many dumb arse questions!

Hi and welcome. I have a G650 sertao in the stable which I have done many miles on and it's a good bike for solo trips.
I work to live. I live to ride. I ride to work, Ever felt like your going in circles.
