Hi,

Still fairly new to motorbikes, got my full A license four years ago. I only ride for fun. I'm currently restoring a '70 CB350 twin, and doing a 'rolling restoration' on a '72 Land Rover 109 (LWB Series 3). Bought a little Honda XR125L dual sport a few years ago and go green laning with it. Used to do a lot of cycling, so the slow speed doesn't bother me. Planning a ride from Hampshire to the Outer Hebrides with a work colleague next month (he's on a 125 too), so should be interesting. We're both used to long days riding, he's done LeJOG and I've done L2P and general touring.

Jules.

Hi
Welcome from the New forest
Nothing wrong with the little bikes seems to be the way everyone is going.

Cheers guys, a lot of bikers I've mentioned the trip too get all 'you can't tour on less than a <insert displacement here>'. I'm so glad this place isn't like that :)

Of the bikes I own, the little XR is by far the most comfortable. I've been down to the coast and back many times, and taken it down to Dartmoor and back too.
