Hello all and thanks for the add, Steve is my name or Taz, I have spent a bit of time doing a the odd bit of touring on my harley ( scotland, island, wales, france, spain etc ) but after riding the same bike for 17 years I thought it was about time for a change ( so the harley has been moved to the back of the garage and I have just purchased a GS1250 rally TE with the idea of re-riding some of the trips that I have done in the past ( particularly scotlands highlands and islands plus the lake district (enjoyed Hardknott pass on fully loaded harley softail ) I have been able to retire early so I can hopefully make the most of my time. will now spend a bit of time on the forum to see what its all about and if there any of you from around west sussex, I hope to meet up at some time.
Taz.

Hello and welcome from West Sussex as well, some great stuff for bigger bikes around these parts, the Frensham sands are great atm.

Hello Stewie, I used to come from Fernhurst/haslemere many years ago and spent a bit of time around frensham, but can't think of anywhere that you are not likely to get chased off... and can't recognise the place from your picture, I have been playing about on the ruff stuff locally since getting the bike.. but if you could share with how to find the place at frensham sands or any other off road stuff suitable for larger bikes I would be grateful. Oh I am from ferring/worthing in west sussex.
Cheers Steve.

There's a fair bit down that way, look for Public ways as well as Byways, we sometimes start a ride from Whiteways cafe at Bury hill, as for easy lanes, one persons easy is anothers tricky, Chalk pit lane is nice and easy as long as it's not wet, Viewranger has a fair few routes on it, also not far from Salibury plains, nice for the bigger bikes.
