Hi Guys and Gals!
I have just taken delivery of a lovely lightweight MASH 400 Adventure (apparently based on XR400 and the same generic model as many other brands - Shineray, GEON? SOIB? WK Trail, etc) it certainly looks the part and I did carry out a little due-diligence by testing a RE Himalayan - felt too low and the BMW 310GS - too road orientated and low ground clearance.
Managed to get a good deal on a 6-month old bike that had done 1500 miles - strangely all in the space of 6-weeks...I guess that once again I have managed to buy a very rare and discontinued model - still after owning a Cagiva Elefant 900ie for 24 years, a GAS GAS Pampera and a Buell1125R, I suppose I have some experience of the difficulties that might lay ahead.
My location is near Ilkley, it would be good to know if anyone else is in the neighbourhood.
It would also be good to hear from any owners of similar bikes to the MASH.
