Hi,
I currently own a 2018 Royal Enfield Himalayan, which is my first adventure style bike. The bike is well suited to New Zealand road conditions as our speed limit is 100kph and the bike seems to cope well with my 6'4.5" frame and the luggage. Before this one I had a Honda Deauville and scooters and has been riding for 24 years.
I hope to learn and make a positive contribution to this site. Just back from my first adventure trip to Central Otago and it was an epic trip. Even thought I had lost the bike at one stage during the numerous river crossings when the water pushed the bike over on me. Some slide shows of my trip.
Greetings from the south island of New Zealand

Welcome to the forum, I've been following your bike mods on advrider. New Zealand looks great to ride.
A few of us have Himalayans on this forum but most of us haven,t had them long and its winter here so not many long trip stories yet.
Keep posting the videos.

Welcome from the deep south....of England.
As per diggermanbob, my wife and I did a four week trip to NZ in February and March.
Planning another month in South Island next winter with hopefully a road bike hire in Nelson and a trail ride in Queenstown...but no bungee.
Can’t wait. Absoluteky loved the country and people, especially finding a mobile coffee van wherever you are.

Anybody know why my photos get rotated when I put them in a post. Both these photos appear right way up on my computer in different programs. Something somewhere I'm missing?
