Hiya Lisa and welcome! Nice bike and piccy. I really need to test ride a vstrom 650 soon. They do seem to have a strong fan base and seem to do everything well, without costing an arm and a leg.

Great bikes the 650cc V-Strom.

My ass spent a happy 60k on my K6.
I've moved now to a Varadero but the DL650 is still at the top of my list of future bikes.

Wales has some absolutely fantastic roads and I wish I'd get more time up north than I do.
