Norwegian Newguy

Post by Johnkern »

Hello!

John here, a 22 year old living outside of Oslo, Norway.
Got my license this August and went on a longer trip along with my father to Russia trough Sweden and Finland, 6000km/3700miles with lots of off-roading and great memories.

Got my beloved this May, a BMW G310 GS.

Had some minor modifications done to it before our trip:
- Skidplate from SW-Motech
- Center Stand from SW-Motech
- Fatbar
- Handlebar Risers
- Mirror Risers
- Heated Grips
- Double USB Socket
- Anakee Wild tires
++
I plan on getting some crash bars and some other goodies like spoked wheels later on to get it more offroad friendly.
So far really happy with the bike after using it a lot this year, it survived some tough abuse on our trip and it was surprisingly good offroad as well as on.

Thanks!
Norway is a good roadtrip country both in a car or on a bike, especially in a convertible!
I recommend driving along the west coast if you ever get the chance, and take a trip to Bergen and Hardangervidda (if you havent been there already).
