mark holland joining the forum
Hi,
I am Mark Holland!
Long-time TRF member, now living in Herefordshire (not Hertfordshire!) in the west side of England, bordering Wales.
I have a 1997 KTM LC4 400 and use it for trail riding.
I have ridden in many parts of England, Scotland and Wales but would like to do more.
Not ridden abroad yet.
TRF national PR Officer for 6 years until 2001.
Currently TRF's national Equestrian Events Liaison Officer - a contact for and a go-between for trail riders and horse event organisers. We help at both 'eventing' (British Eventing) and long-distance 'endurance' (Endurance GB) horse events.
Active with TRF local groups - Herefordshire, and Joint Chair of Gloucestershire group (www.trfglos.org.uk).
Looking forward to the forum but am only a sporadic user!

Hi Mark,
Welcome aboard...to a forum where we are all considered to be grown-ups. You'll enjoy the refreshing lack of ego-driven moderation.
All the best
Richard

Welcome aboard from a soggy Somerset.
I did a horse event once where I rode around all day with score cards, it was really good fun and I was very pleased to have such a quiet bike!
Cheers
Bren

And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

Hi Richard - let's hope there's no need for 'moderation'.
Hi Bren - hope it wasn't the same score cards and you took some to the scoring team!
I have joined the forum partly because i need access to a properly indexed forum, where i can also ask questions.
