Evening all
Newbie to biking in general have a 2004 transalp. Anyone know of any very light trails that I can cut my teeth on locally between Reading, Farnborough Basingstoke and all in between?
Thanks

Welcome Mike, what tyres have you got on your bike? I know that the subject of tyres can be boring but at this time of the year on a Transalp you will need something with a bit of bite to make progress as most of the trails will be muddy.
If you have road tyres on it then you could still ride the gravels trails on Salisbury Plain. Most of the trails on the plain are well marked but not always open if the army are out playing, please observe the red flags
cheers, Bob.

Hi boboneleg, I've got road tyes (ones that came with the bike) although Ive never really looked. 90/10 at best I would guess even thought they might look a little capable.
I was looking at tck80s, ig that's the name, good chance ive got the name wrong...Newbie remember lol.
Are you on the plains often?
