Green Lanes Rivington Area ?

Post by Nigel Newman »

Hi, New to ABR !

I'm also new to adventure bike riding & just purchased a 2004 XT660R. I'm off to the Pyranees with a couple of brill guys this June but could do with getting out a few times prior to the trip. Just wondering if anybody knows of any green lanes or trails reasonably local to me (Leyland Lancs) ??

Any advice or help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Welcome Nigel. I'm sure some of the local boys can whip you into shape and show you the rounds.

Remember to film all your rides;)

I think the is only the one lane in the rivington area. Your best getting to wales or yourkshire as the is plenty to keep you entertained there

Kito's right. It's pointless to ride there to do that. It's all over in less than a few minutes. Ride over to the dales, far more to go at.

I'll lead a ride over there if there is a handful of people who want to go. Big loop, around 100 miles, lots of off tarmac, no show stoppers but some is not straightforward so prob not for total novices
