(thumbs) Hi from Hampshire

We do the 12hr Maxxis Dial Quad Racing in Pont De Vaux every year, it's brilliant. I'm hoping to take the Triumph this year and have a bimble about. Camping at Lake Orient too, should be good :)

Welcome aboard from a drizzly Somerset.

Not jealous at all...

And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

I would love to. If I get the chance I will. We are staying over there for a few weeks, so I am sure I can try and arrange something (thumbs)

Great part of the World indeed but a very wet one this morning!
Nothing new there and we are well used to it (thumbs)
A few O'Neil about and I work with a guy O'Neil.
I don't believe my travels have taken me as far down as you are just yet.

Plan on getting down to the South of France sometime as there are a few guys who are into BMW Airheads and the go by the name of GS Vintage and it would be good to meet up with them.

Hope you enjoy your time here on ABR (thumbs)

Geoham

Now you need to put that plan into effect...Ballycastle to Cork ferry port for the ferry to France is a little over 5 hours ride. To Rosslare is fairly similar. Both are mid/late afternoon ferries travelling overnight. ferries from Dublin to France are smaller.

We are heading down about 8th September, probably from Rosslare. we will be heading for Perigueux so that's one possible route. Camp trip and we know a few nice stopovers on the way.
