A big Hello to all members,
Having just bought the latest issue of Adventure Bike Rider I discovered this Forum when planning to ride my XT12 along the Offa's Dyke route given in the Mag.
Anyway it seems that I've landed on my feet here and just to say that I would be pleased to meet up with other local members for a chat over a pint about touring and bikes in general. Officially I'm retired so have plenty of free time for bikes and getting out and about riding.

Sorry but lost the original message when I did the second PS. but yes I really do have a 10 plate XT1200 First Edition. It came with side panniers but I'm looking for a Yamaha or Givi Top Box of similar style if anyone has a spare?
If I can get the photo's to upload at the third or later attempt you will see the aluminium circular turntable under the xT, this was bought online for £55 and really makes turning the Bike round in my garage very easy. The black bike behind is my 1980 Darmah SS.
Will try the photo's again as pdf's.
PS2 photo's still didn't upload even after switching from JPG to PDF - will try again tomorrow!
