I guess there's no going back now...

Post by Dutchgit »

Hey ho good people of ABR !

New to this forum but not new to biking.

My name is Ard and I've found this forum through Simon AKA The Spanish Biker.

My trusty bike is a Beemer G650 X-Country which I'm currently modifying to do some more exptensive trips.

There it is:

My wife rides a Husky TR 650 Strada to which I've fitted spoked wheels. (We couldn't lay hands on a Terra.. )

We're hoping to get to the HISS thingy in September.

Adventure motorcycling is a challenge for those who go but only a dream for those who stay behind.

Thanks for the welcome people !

Yep, that's 17" rear and 19" fronts on both the Husky and the Beemer wearing our most favorite tyre: The Heidenau K60.

Tried some TKC80's but I found them rather lacking grip in the rain and wearing out quicker than the Heidis.

Cheers, Ard
