Steve - I'm guessing the Holyhead to Dublin crossing would be the handiest. Off the ferry in Dublin Port then straight up the Toll tunnel unto the M1 northbound towards Belfast. I think some of the lads from England did that last year

I should have mentioned Will and myself down for Saturday night dinner too.

Some camp sites have hook ups for power. Does the ABR one have a hook up for beer line?

Looking forward to the weekend.

If anyone is travelling across on ferry to Dublin the port tunnel up to M1 is the way to go.

Its tolled but completely by passes all the traffic and exits up near M50/Dublin airport. you will be travelling north on M1. Toll is cheap except in the late afternoon peak traffic going north as the tunnel is free for trucks to keep them from the city. Time saving is huge, unless there is an accident about 15 minutes gets you from the ferry to open country. DO NOT even think of using a sat nav to go any other way.

There is one toll, €1 for bikes and there is a services at Balbriggan and Castlebellingham before crossing the border which you won't even notice. Either make a good meet up point/coffee stop if anyone is travelling this way.

Post up arrival times as there may be an option of a few folk meeting at these points. Petrol over here at the moment tends to be about €1.39 at services so depends on your exchange rate when you travel. It's only about 50-60 miles from ferry to border so you can survive quite well without €s.
