Sadly it means I will have to miss the ABR weekend as the trip is the same weekend. My friend Will is staying in though.

Details of the Saturday Ride Out.
Ok so this year we hope to do a lap of the Inishowen Peninsula in Co Donegal.
Unfortunately (for me) I will not be able to lead the ride out this year due to unforeseen circumstances - however I hope to attend the Rally
The ride out will be left in the capable hands of Gav, Gubbo & Heff
The route.
Leaving The Shepherds Rest at 08.30 sharp (please ensure you have a full tank of petrol prior to the off - Service station in Draperstown)
The ride out will pass through Feeny, Claudy, then skirt round Londonderry and over the Foyle Bridge, crossing the border at Muff
There will be a stop for breakfast around here (Euros required) - probably around 09.30-10.00 The venue has yet to be sorted but will be for the day
The ride out will then do a circuit of the Inishowen Peninsula, taking in Culdaff, Malin Head (most Northerly point of Ireland) , Ballyliffin, Leenan. Mamore Gap, Dunree Fort (lunch) probably around 2pm
After lunch, continue through Buncrana, Burnfoot, then back through Londonderry and back into the North. It will then pass back through Claudy then Park and back over the Sperrins to the Shephreds Rest
Distance roughly 160-200 miles. A mixture of roads ranging from A to un-named single track - there is a possibility of a couple of small sections of un-surfaced road but will be confirmed closer to the date.
All should be back at the Shepherds Rest no later than 8pm
There will be plenty of smoke/photo stops along the way - there will also be the opportunity to top up on fuel as well - again Euros required.
As in the past - if weather is not suitable a more local & shorter ride out will be hastily organised
Anyone interested in partaking on the ride out, let us know so we can provide the numbers for the breakfast. Also to kill two birds with the one stone could you also indicate if you would like the evening meal on the Saturday as well?
Cheers
