I will be. I live in the Abergavenny area
Hi Griff, when are you planning to go up. I’m going to book the Friday off on leave this week and start making plans
Friday afternoon I expect?

I looked and it's no where near the Tet route, apart from that I have no idea about any lanes on the way?

Hi alun.
After writing my AT off last month it doesn't look like I will get my money to get another before this event so can't go. Now a mate said there was a waiting list and you buy the tickets back. Mine is available if it's needed.
Regards simon

Hi Simon, if you could email [email protected] with your details that'd be much appreciated and we'll be able to cancel your ticket.

Great news guys! We've just released the last few weekend tickets (£25) to the ABR Festival and, if you haven't got yours yet, you can secure them by visiting https://www.adventurebikerider.com/even ... ival-2018/ Be quick though, as this is a very limited run and they're available on a first come first served basis.

Hey guys, time has flown by and it’s not long now until the Adventure Bike Rider Festival. We’re really looking forward to meeting you all and are praying for blue skies, though whatever the weather it’s going to be a blast!

On the Saturday, the Trail Riders Fellowship (TRF) will be leading green lane rideouts from Seals Farm (where the festival is), heading out in all directions to take in the best trails in the surrounding counties. Places on these rides are limited and available on a first come first served basis on the day, but before you think about tagging along, we’d like to make sure that everyone’s familiar with a few key pieces of information relating to the TRF and green lane riding in the UK.

First of all, it’s worth familiarising yourself with the TRF Code of Conduct, seven key points that will help ensure we all use the green lanes in a responsible manner (which can only be a good thing). The points are:
1. Only use roads that the public are entitled to ride motorcycles on
2. Keep to the defined area of the green road
3. Give plenty of space to walkers, horses and cyclists
4. Travel at a speed which is safe and sustainable for the road surface
5. Ride quietly and unobtrusively
6. Honour the countryside
7. Endeavour to be a good ambassador for motorcycling
You can find out more about the code of conduct by following this link.

The TRF has also created a super useful and informative beginner’s guide to green laning, consisting of videos and a few useful articles that cover areas like: Where can I ride? What bike do I need? And how do I plan a route?

Whether you’re new to green laning or you’ve been playing in the dirt for years, it’s always good to get a refresher course to make sure you’re riding legally and safely.

As mentioned, the TRF will be at the ABR Festival this year, so if you have anything you’d like to ask them, they’d be more than willing to help.
