Can anyone tell me what that landranger software is called that was in issue 4? Tyrant had it on her android.

Sorry I didn't see it but viewranger is very good. I use memory map and view ranger on my iPhone and find viewranger a little better in some ways

On Android I'm using Oruxmaps which is free

Snowdog its great but it has one flaw on Android, you can't disable the screensaver like you can on the iPhone or a Symbian
Makes it hard to use as a satnav if your screen times out after 10 minutes or so and you're having to stop to open the screen again

I have Viewranger on Android with the same screen turning off problem. I sorted it using an app called Keepscreen.
