newbury,hungerford area

Hi guys..

has anyone on here rode the byeways from Newbury to Marlborough via Hungerford etc..
if so what type of surface are they ..rutted ,overgrown..chalk :woohoo: ..

thinking of a explore this Autumn on my ccm..someones got to do it :laugh:

ive looked on trailfinder so know where they are will check out for tro`s etc..

I've done quite a few in that area, but can't check which ones as I'm away at the moment. I'll check when I get back and let you know, but my recollection is that some are ok and some pretty rusty.

you would need a good rear tyre and it wll be slippy, rutted and muddy :laugh: :laugh: ..my normal stuff

I've done most of those around there over the years Russ, most of it is fairly easy as long as you're happy with ruts

Let me know when you're going (except Sundays), I may have my XR650 running by the end of this week.
