newbury,hungerford area

Hi guys..

has anyone on here rode the byeways from Newbury to Marlborough via Hungerford etc..
if so what type of surface are they ..rutted ,overgrown..chalk :woohoo: ..

thinking of a explore this Autumn on my ccm..someones got to do it :laugh:

ive looked on trailfinder so know where they are will check out for tro`s etc..

I've done quite a few in that area, but can't check which ones as I'm away at the moment. I'll check when I get back and let you know, but my recollection is that some are ok and some pretty rusty.

you would need a good rear tyre and it wll be slippy, rutted and muddy :laugh: :laugh: ..my normal stuff :P

I've done most of those around there over the years Russ, most of it is fairly easy as long as you're happy with ruts :)

Let me know when you're going (except Sundays), I may have my XR650 running by the end of this week.
