I reckon you have only got 7 more letters to go.. The field of Christmas Trees was a good hint. I was wondering about that one..

I'm getting there slowly.I don't think you can even see the tallest mountain in the region (Ben Macdui) from the roadside so I'll just have to give you the Cairngorms.
