A quick one nighter down Wicklow way

Post by Flintlock »

Got a pass for a quick overnight trip. Had intended to head for a bit of wild camping in West Donegal, however the weather was not good, so a quick look to see where there was a better chance of good weather and Wicklow was chosen.
A dash down the A1, M1, M50 and unto the R115, soon found us riding through the Wicklow mountains

A lovely part of the country about 2 hours away from the North.
Left Lisburn 12 midday Tuesday, back home for late lunch yesterday

When I go to Cork to visit family, I struggle with the 'white pudding' for breakfast  .

Nice one Flintlock, good to see you using that new bike. Now how about getting a tent you can actually stretch out and sit up in? Plenty of room in those panniers. Go on treat yerself!

Funny you should say that Steve ' got more than my fair share of stick (again) about my tent (not a bivvy) at the campsite.

Pity Heff was not there -he could have taken some of the stick flack away from me
